Hurra, die Pflanzaktion hat gut geklappt (Bilder hier), der Baum ist gepflanzt, und steht in seiner ganzen Schönheit und Kleinheit neben der Ballspielhalle im Französischen Viertel.
Neben dem Baum entsteht noch eine Wand mit einem Friedensbaum-Gemälde – dank der Künstlerin Maria Bauer und ihren Helferinnen und Helfern!

Der Baum braucht jetzt erstmal Wasser zum anwachsen und verwurzeln, damit die kleinen, feinen Wurzeln, die bei dem Transport im Ballen verletzt wurden, sich wieder ans darumherumliegende Erdreich anschließen und verwurzeln können.
Wer gerne gießen mag, darf das einfach tun – im Moment gibt es noch Wasser aus dem Brunnen vor der Panzerhalle zum holen und zu viel gießen ist auch nicht möglich, so sagen es die Gärtner-Leute.
Am besten wäre es auf Dauer, wenn an dem Fallrohr vom Dach der Ballspielhalle etwas von dem dort bei Regen aufgefangenen Wasser in eine Tonne abgezweigt werden könnte. Bisher stehen dem noch Bedenken vom Hochbauamt der Stadt Tübingen entgegen – aber vielleicht findet sich auf längere Frist eine für alle akzeptable Lösung.
Die Gruppe 91 hat schon angeboten, aus ihren Beständen im G91-Bau eine solche Tonne zur Verfügung zu stellen.
